Discount Clubs - You need good clubs to play good golf!
Ok, let's face it: you will have a
tough time playing good golf without some good golf clubs.
I just had a conversation with a friend of mine earlier today (hi
Martin) and he told me that he was playing with some golf clubs that were
about 10 or more years old. And I had to admit that I was doing
the same thing, until about a year ago. I still have those golf
clubs in the
garage and remember very well trying to use them. My strongest
memories are when I would hit a bad shot...WHACK...I
could FEEL a bad shot! As I have heard it said, "It was
like hitting a steel rod that was pushed into the ground." Not
good.
Since I have had my new golf clubs, that "feeling" of hitting a bad shot
has almost become a thing of the past. With the "game
improvement" golf clubs that are available today, you don't have to
get a painful twisted wrist every time you don't hit the golf ball
exactly on the center of the club. My new golf clubs are more "forgiving"
and much easier on my hands and wrists.
And when I hit a good shot...dead center of the club... it is
sweet! Those shots feel almost like there was no golf ball there at
all. And there is that special CRACK sound when I hit it
just right. Nothing sounds better. So I judge my shots
mostly by FEEL and SOUND.
